Camp at a Glance
What Campers Do
Mass Audubon says campers experience life on a working farm and wildlife sanctuary: caring for farm animals, observing native wildlife, joining in sustainable farming and discovering the science behind nature. Each session is built around group goals and daily themes, with activities such as habitat exploration, farm chores, crafts and games.

Paying for Camp
Mass Audubon uses a sliding scale: families register at a tuition rate based on their annual gross household income. Deposits, deadlines and health requirements are in Mass Audubon's camp policies.
Safety and Accreditation
Mass Audubon says all camp staff pass reference and background checks, are certified in CPR and first aid, and are trained in child development, natural history and health and safety. The camp complies with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations (105 CMR 430), is licensed by the Lincoln Board of Health, and is accredited by the American Camp Association.
Terrain
Campers move over uneven ground all day, from hard-packed, gently sloped paths to steeper trails with rocks and roots. Mass Audubon encourages families to visit the sanctuary before enrolling; see hours and the trail map.
Summer Visits During Camp
Because camp fills the farm in summer, Mass Audubon does not offer private facility rentals from June to August.
